From Picasa in the Classroom - What is it?
Picasa is a free application that lets students and teachers organize, edit and share photographs (it's just for the PC - Mac Users you have iPhoto already installed on your machine). Visual images can augment many cucurricular projects and lessons.
Images are powerful additions to most lessons. To organize your images (or to have students organize images for projects & presentations) try one of these two sites:
