The Kansas State University's - Digital Ethnography project is an interesting place to find out about media, information literacy and its participatory culture. This program is studying how people in our culture interact with information and how it is changing our lives.

This video, "Information R/evolution" shows the journey of how people and society has dealt with information over the past 30 years.
Another from the 'Digital Ethnography" program is called. "A Vision of Students Today." The students in this class collaborated on a single Google Document and tabulated the results of surveys they took as a class to characterize how people use information.
