DIRECTIONS FOR USING DATA DIRECTOR

For first-time users:

1. Sign in to DataDirector by going to www.achievedata.com/smuhsd. Your user name is first initial+last name. Use lower case characters and no spaces. The initial password is “welcome”.
2. Change your password to your district e-mail password or your AERIES password. It must be at least 6 characters long.
   

For those who have signed in previously but forgotten their password.

1. Try your district email or Aeries password.
   
2. If that doesn’t work, email Cheryl Meagher at cmeagher@smuhsd.org. It will take 24 hours to re-set your password.
   

CST CLUSTER SCORES REPORT BY CLASS PERIOD

1. Select “reports” and scroll down.
2. Select “CST Cluster Scores”.
3. Select “manually”.
4. Select “subject”.
5. Select “Student population roster year”. (2009-2010 for current students)
6. Select “Add courses”. (the period for which you want scores)
7. Select “test year” – (2008-09 for most recent results).
8. Select “test type”.
9. Select “percent correct”.
10. Show number possible – Select “yes”.
11. Select “submit”.


COMMON ASSESSMENT RESULTS BY CLASS PERIOD

1. Go to the tab, EXAMS.
2. Select the subject area of the test.
3. Select the 2008-09 academic year (there are no results yet for 2009-10 except for the Gates-MacGinitie reading test).
4. Select “District Benchmark”. Submit.
5. Select the test.
6. Select the class period.
7. Under REPORTS – click on “classroom performance summary report”.

INDIVIDUAL STUDENT INFORMATION

1. Go to STUDENTS.
2. Select the academic year (2009-10 for current students).
3. Enter the student’s First and Last name OR the student’s ID#.
4. Click “Go”.
